Dr. Teresa Piliouras, CEO
Founded TCR in 1986 as an information technology company, specializing in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity. data mining, network design, operations research, and industrial engineering. TCR’s mission is to help individuals and organizations succeed in their goals through effective use of technology, optimization principles, and best practices. Dr. Teresa Piliouras is an IT consultant, educator, inventor, and author. Previously, she was an industry professor of Computer Science and Management of Technology at New York University Tandon School of Engineering, and a visiting Professor of Computer Science at Iona College. She held senior management and technical positions at Accenture, Boehringer Ingelheim, PepsiCo, Pitney Bowes, and ITT. She holds a BS from the University of Illinois, a MBA from Iona College, and a PhD in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from New York University Tandon School of Engineering. She holds numerous patents relating to cybersecurity and digital privacy. Her scientific research is focused on cybersecurity, privacy and safety in the digital age, health information technology, and educational best practices.
Pui Lam Yu, Executive Vice President Engineering
Joined TCR in 2010. He is responsible for TCR’s information technology strategy, systems development, software engineering, and technical operations. He earned a BE in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and his MS in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He also earned a MS in Computer Science from New York University Tandon School of Engineering. Mr. Yu has over 20 years of industry experience. Previously, Mr. Yu was an Electrical Engineer and Systems Engineer at RTX Corporation (formerly United Technologies Corporation). He was responsible for digital circuit design, requirements development and verification, and systems engineering for the electronic engine controls of the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program, and other major aerospace programs.
